On the original page, “we”, “us” and “our” meant Batty Joinery, and “you” meant any visitor or buyer. Opening the site was agreement to the terms, whether or not an order was placed.

The page said content was checked for accuracy but was not guaranteed free of error, and excluded liability for errors and omissions. Use of the site was at the visitor’s own risk. It disclaimed warranties for products, services, information and materials on the site.

It said the company did not accept liability for consequential, incidental, indirect, special or punitive damages from purchase or use of products or services from the site, except liability for personal injury or death arising from negligence.
